There are two types of people in this world

Those who stubbed their toe at least once a year and those who never stubbed their toe

I'm a toe stubber.

So last night I'm in the restroom

on my throne, pitch dark, 2 o'clock in the morning, and I have a tendency if I get up to check the messages,

right? What's the breaking news? Is there something we should start prepping on early?

I hear a knock downstairs. Not a knock, but you know things that go bump in the night sort of sound okay

and I jump up off my, come out the door and confront this nefarious noise. And when I do my left pinky toe my left pinky toe oh man

man Oh, man. My mom was a toast of her from way back. I'm not saying I got it from her. I'm saying

I got it from her. I'm saying maybe we're in that category of people who are not

sufficiently mindful of where we put our feet I can remember as a kid my mother stubbing her

toe on the corner of the bed when she was making it. And you know that iron post?

And she would stub that thing and there was a

certain scream that came out when she stubbed her toe.

And somehow I acquired the toe stubbing trait. I don't know why. I really don't.

My brother did it.

My dad, he's never stubbed his toes. We've stubbed our toes so many times.

It was Crockett's first skiing trip. I was so excited taking him down and yeah. And we were off to,

what's the place in Wyoming? People go, Jackson Hole, so excited. And two nights before we're going to leave.

I'm coming around the corner to get into the bed.
