there were 33,129 veterans in the United States. By that I mean homeless veterans in the United States in 2022.

There are an estimated 4,000 homeless veterans in Los Angeles alone. And my guest today has a very

unique understanding of this problem. Anna Scott is a reporter and producer for KCRW and MPR's

In 2020, after the VA rejected tents, and that was due to their size, which were donated by a conservative activist group Judicial Watch,

veterans received the tents directly and set up an encampment just outside of the VA's West L.A. campus.
