I was born in Mexico City, raced in Mexico City, arrived in the United States around the age of 22 as a Mexican diplomat, first attached to the Mexican Consul General in Chicago, Illinois, and later to the permanent mission or Mexican embassy for the OAS in Washington, D.C.

Eventually, I decided that I needed to remain in the place that I loved and I wanted to call home.

So I actually chose to surrender my diplomatic status and begin my application to become a permanent actually eventually a US citizen naturalized United States
