Kara Berry. Today we are talking the TLC three-part docu series, The Cult of the Real Housewife, all about Mary Cosby answering the question, whether or not Mary and Robert Sr.

Are they running a cults? Now, y'all know, I love Mary Cosby down, and I have for

quite a while, and I did not have particularly high hopes for this docu-series. I will say, in terms of

execution, it was much better done than what I had in mind and in my head.

Was I completely convinced?

I'm not sure.

But of course, as we do, as a family, we're going to sit at the table here and talk our way through it.

Right.

So let's get into it, shall we?

Let's start with episode one. It's a cult. Does that really

ask a question? No, it feels more like a declarative statement, but, you know, whether or not I

disagree is, doesn't matter. That's the name of the episode. So it starts off with what sounds like

Mary, a recording saying, there's one mediator between God and man in a sermon, I guess.

And she says to the audience, who do you think that is?

And they say, you, Mary.

And then she says, I don't know, I didn't say that, but you're not coming back unless you come through me.

I know that.

So take that for what you will, what you will.

In typical documentary fashion, these days, you know, we get like a montage of different people on TikTok, live, YouTube, whatever, interviews.
