Hi everyone, that was special.

Tim Walls and Gwen Walls were powerful surrogates and messengers in their own right, but that doesn't always happen.

The last time this happened in American politics was eight years ago.

Tim Cain was the last losing vice presidential nominee of a major political party to give a concession speech.

And that is what we just watched, Alicia Menendez.

You know, it reminds us that the showing is as important as the telling, right, more

important than anything he said.

And that speech was the fact that he gave it.

But I did like some of the frameworks that he laid out this idea of as he talked to folks on the

trail coming back to three themes over and again, security, opportunity, freedom, and really

using those as a guiding light moving forward. And I also think it's interesting. Yes, this is the

end of a presidential campaign. It would have been very easy for him to give a political speech. But that

speech was much more about culture and about the way we treat each other as

neighbors, this idea of having an open mind and an open heart.

And I think that type of direction is what people are looking for in this moment.

Well, and I think it's, it's, it's, it's Jacob, are you with us?

where someone who ran on such polarizing ideas but garnered the support of, you know,

if you're anywhere in America and you look to your right, you look to your left,

chances are one of the two of them voted for him, right?

That's how sweeping his victory is. This idea of in your community, we have to learn to love and laugh together again
