The most glorious thing about Easter is not that we will live forever with our Lord, though that is consummately glorious.

The most glorious thing about Easter, it is the prima facie evidence that indeed Jesus Christ is Lord.

He is shown to be the son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead.

And so this is the crowning evidence that all that he said is true and all that he promises

Carrie, this is Easter Sunday this Sunday,

and he has risen. He has risen indeed.

Oh, I love the echo of that through the services on Easter when Adrian Rogers would preach on Easter Sunday morning.

You know and typically he would walk out and he would be in front of the set, the Passion Place

set because of Easter. He loved that. He loved the Gospel and the Good News in visual form.

He also loved to hit the masses because he knew that people would

come around the nation to see the passion play, but typically he would walk

out and he would say this, if Jesus Christ is still in that tomb, nothing really matters.

But if Jesus Christ came out of that tomb, nothing but that matter.

And that is the ministry and the heartbeat of Love Worth finding. It is the greatest love worth

finding. Well, Carrie, you know, we often had Adrian Rogers here in the studio and

we talk to him about the messages that we present here on Love We're Finding.

And as much as Adrian Rogers love both Christmas and Easter,

we had a chance during this conversation

to ask him which one he thought was the most significant and this is what he had to say.

To me Christmas is more fun but Easter is the greater blessing. The Bible never does make much about the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
