Hey guys, good morning. It is Monday morning Christmas week.

Hope you guys are having a fantastic time. I hope you had a great weekend.

It is December 22nd, 2025. Headed into 2026, whether you're ready or not, it's coming. I hope you are ready. I hope you're looking forward to it. I am. I think that there's some great things in store for us in the days ahead, and I'm excited about what's going to happen. It's going to be a lot of, you know, the craziness isn't going to go away. The chaos and the nonsense of the world isn't going to die down. But you know the craziness isn't going to go away the chaos and the nonsense of the world isn't going to die down but you know what I believe great things for us

as we continue to immerse ourselves in the truth of the scripture because you know what

we're going we're going above the noise man we're getting away from it and uh we're seeing it

clearly we can interpret the headlines of the things

that are happening in our lives and you know the things that are affecting us the things that are

shocking us the tragedies are out there you're getting some perspective by being here so welcome to

before the noise uh these are my devotional times that that it's crazy when you think about this last

quarter of the year. This started out as just a daily 10-minute devotional and now it's an

hour-long episode every day. And I'm so thankful that you guys have consistently stayed with me

and encouraged me. You send me the best messages over it before the noise.com. And I'm thankful for that. I've had an opportunity to get to know a lot of new people. I've had an opportunity to pray for a lot of people. And I know you're praying for me. And so I'm very thankful. If you're new here, my name is Chad Prather. This is Before the Noise. And I'm thankful that you, that you decided to join us. I hope you'll stick in here with us. Today's going to be kind of interesting because we've been moving our way through the book of Acts, and we've hit chapter 13. We're right in the middle of it. And so I got into this little bit of a dilemma, because we're about to get into this passage here that if I've read

all the rest of the chapter it gets kind of long and if you look at it it's sort of like yeah it's just

kind of skimming through this big long message that the apostle Paul delivers but man there was so

much there I said I got to just kind of take a little bite-sized chunk of this today because I don't want to lose you.

And I want to show you today how closely you need to read the scripture.

There's not one single verse in scripture that you can't make some application from.

That's one of the things that I tried to convey over at above the noise.
