And we were just talking before we got started about kind of the bias and the environment on college campuses.

decide to take the time to start constituting America? That's a really good question, and people are

that came about. It's about threefold. First of all, my father was from Athens, Texas, my mother

from San Antonio, but he was plucked out of Athens, Texas to be a cadet and to play football

for West Point, the United States Military Academy at West Point. Wow. And he didn't like it very much, but he said, I'm going to stay. I'm going to stay for my children and for my country. Back then, it was square meals. You know, they had to eat just sitting up like square meals. He always talked about that. But he graduated in 57, and they didn't really have their Air Force Academy yet. So he could

choose between flying or Army or Air Force, so to speak. So he chose the Air Force. And he was, Turner

Marie Scamp was my father's name, Jr. And he was one of the first to fly twice the speed of sound,
