We are standing by for Columbus Blue Jackets general manager Yarmo Kekulainen as soon as we make contact

we will bring them aboard to talk about a number of different things with Columbus and you know

Columbus is put this way Columbus has no plans to go through what they went

through last season. Now some of it was poor performance, certainly others will point out

quickly that injuries were a major factor in what happened with

CBJ and already we've seen a couple of moves made by Yarmo Kekalayana to help short

things up most notably defenseman Ivan Provirooff comes in in a very high profile three-way trade with the Philadelphia

Flyers in Los Angeles Kings and Damon Severson and the sign and trade comes in from the New Jersey devils. So still, very much looking to round out

a roster in a division that outside of a couple of teams here really kind of looks up for grabs.

Like when you look around the NHL landscape, and this is what maybe you might, you know, this kind of makes

Vancouver an interesting team if they're gonna take a swing at it next season.

The Pacific is really good because I don't think that you know Seattle's going to go away

Edmonton's going to be a contender Los Angeles Angeles Kings story is well told and oh yeah,

the Stanley Cup resides in the Pacific

with the Vegas Golden Knights and maybe the wild card

and all of this is going to be the Calgary flame.

So the metropolitan outside of a couple of teams

kind of looks like jump ball right here.

So this all sort of lines up nice for the Columbus Blue

jackets.
