0:25.4	United States. Not only did Donald Trump win, as everybody in the world knows, but the progressive
0:31.3	movement lost big. And tonight, we're going to tell you exactly why that happened. I don't think a lot of
0:42.2	Americans understand the historical significance of the progressive meltdown and how it's going
0:50.8	to affect your life, personally. It will. And that is the subject of this evening's
0:57.8	talking points memo. So let's start with the Democratic Party, not all progressive, but a lot of it.
1:05.7	Certainly the moderate Democrats are afraid of the progressives. Nancy Pelosi invoked fear in every Democrat in Congress,
1:16.3	everyone. Just what Ms. Pelosi would do as Speaker of the House who said, look, you better vote
1:23.0	the way I tell you to vote, or we're not going to give you a dime to run for re-election.
1:28.2	Remember, Congresspeople run every two years.
1:30.5	And not only that, if you're obnoxious, we'll primary you.
1:34.4	We'll fund an opponent and knock you out of the game entirely.
1:38.9	So there are the Democrats, okay, okay.
1:42.6	And that's how the progressive movement rose in power. Pelosi
1:46.8	was the driver. But now she's 84 years old, the end of the line, and no longer will she be
1:55.9	doing things like that. So looking ahead on February 1st at the National Harbor in Maryland, the Democratic
2:04.9	and National Committee will be hosting a vote. All right, February 1st. The vote is who is going
2:13.6	to be the next chairman of the DNC. I bet you don't know who the chairman is now.
2:19.3	Guy's name is Jamie Harrison.
2:21.3	He's been in that chair for four years.
2:25.3	Stayed behind the scenes largely, not a factor for the public.
