hey tea sippers i hope you guys are doing good today so it is a lot going on right now in the news

so i wanted to talk to you guys about what went down yesterday.

If you guys do not know on Monday, April 28th, a massive unprecedented blackout happened,

and it basically plunged all of Spain and Portugal into absolute darkness. And you guys know

that's one of the things I've talked about here in America

is that if the grid ever goes down and we don't have power, we don't have electricity, expect for

shit to hit the fan. So yesterday about 12 p.m. local time in Spain, the grid went out. Blackout bought

public transportation to a complete standstill. People couldn't use their phones,

subways and trains that were mid-journey, basically halted on the tracks. People, you know, were in cars. The streetlights didn't work. It was a mess.

Telecommunication was severely impacted. People were impacted that were in the hospitals.

The hospitals had to rely on emergency generators and they didn't know when the lights would be back on, so that was very scary.

Numerous people found themselves also trapped in elevators. So imagine how scary that is.

You know, you're going upstairs to work and you're stuck in the elevator literally all day.
