And I'm your host, Ford Certified Female Urologist, Dr. Casperson.

0:22.7

Hey guys, today we're going to talk about clitoral anatomy.

0:25.8

So this episode is all about the clitoris.

0:28.5

So did you know that the clitoris is the only organ in any human body that is solely designed

0:35.7

for pleasure?

0:36.8

And people immediately would be like, what about the man?

0:39.1

The man has a penis. The penis has three jobs. It needs to inseminate the female. It needs to

0:46.3

urinate. And then it also is involved in pleasure. So the penis actually has three jobs.

0:50.8

1:24.4

it can kind of come over it up and down, and that shaft skin are kind of the

1:29.4

female equivalent of the penis shaft skin and the penis foreskin that covers the clitoral glands.

1:35.4

So the other part of the clitoris that you do, you can see if you look for it, sometimes you

1:39.6

have to pull back the mons a little bit is the clitoral shaft or the clitoral body.

1:43.2

Same thing as the male

1:44.8

penile shaft. So some people say we should just call this a female penis to describe the clitoris

1:50.9

better, but I don't know, then we're kind of defaulting anatomy to men again. So I don't like that.
