So it was on the 12th of July at 11am at McEwen Hall, which is the really old, very famous hall here in Edinburgh.

And it was supposed to be for the graduating class to celebrate our achievements and talk about our next steps.

A few weeks ago, Alex Mohan, Maseria Davis, who studied Italian and French at the University of Edinburgh,

went to what was built as a graduation ceremony, though for most of the students in the hall, it wasn't really.

But from the outside, everything looked normal.

Nobody on stage was talking about the elephant in the room.

As Alex, a student rep, wearing their robes and gowns got up to address the graduating class,
