Why is this tremendous Christmas hymn not more well-known?

Well, in a way, it's not a carol. It's a hymn, and what I mean by that is it's a hymn that really does kind of dive into the theological meaning of Christmas. It doesn't really tell the story of Luke 2 or Matthew. One, it really, in a sense, deals with the why of Christmas and what does Christmas

really mean.

And it's really about the meaning of the incarnation for us.
