All right time time for another edition of fighting for the faith.

It's a little flat today. My son left for the Navy yesterday. I appreciate all the emails that I've been getting from y'all. Some of you guys have been sending notes on Facebook and writing on my wall there.

He's my first kid to fly the nest.

And somehow I just don't think it's going to get any easier when my daughters get in line to leave as well.

So you're listening to fighting for the faith. My name is Chris Roseboro and I am your servant in Jesus Christ.

And this is the program that

desires and seeks to take every thought and make it captive to the obedience of

Christ you know believe it or not there's some wild ideas running around out there in Christianity

that are posing as Christian thoughts but see the problem with the devil is is that

he poses as an angel of light and if you have ever heard the concept of a wolf in sheep's

clothing, it's not as if Satan comes to us dressed up in a red suit, a red union suit with horns and a pitchfork and maybe some piercings and some smoke coming

out of his nostrils. No Satan is far more subtle than that and so as a result of it when Satan comes to us and he wants to deceive us

He comes to us in Jesus's name. He comes to us dressed as a Christian. He comes to us dressed as an angel of light.

And there is a day coming when Satan himself will apparently be able to work miracles through some dude that Paul writes about in Second

Thessalonians and that guy is called the man of lawlessness. So we live in

perilous times. Things are not so good in Christianity and so this show

what do we do? We compare what major Christian leaders and maybe even not so major Christian leaders. People who are

famous among their set of friends, maybe even a local pastor or two.

And we listen in on what they're saying

and compare it to the word of God.

And believe me when I tell you,

there's some strange stuff going on out there.
