| 0:49.0 | Hey, 4th Center friends. Welcome to another episode of Spotlight Star Wars, a monologue from me to you. |
| 1:01.0 | And I actually want to follow up on what we were talking about last week, and share a story from a previous guest, a friend of mine, and a listener of 4th Center, |
| 1:11.0 | which I appreciate for the interval of times here. |
| 1:14.0 | What we were talking about last week, among a lot of things here on Spotlight Star Wars, was those shared connections, |
| 1:20.0 | what I like to call the language of pop. And when you look across the room and see someone representing Star Wars in some fashion, you make a reference and they get it. |
| 1:30.0 | And that brings you closer together. In many cases, forms, bonds, friendships, relationships, and more. |
| 1:36.0 | It's one of my favorite things about being a Star Wars fan. |
| 1:40.0 | And even in this era where you can get Star Wars merch anywhere now, toys anywhere now, you can find Star Wars fans almost anywhere now, which again, proves this is a great time to be a Star Wars fan. |
| 1:51.0 | Even then, you can find and form those connections sometimes based on specific little things. |
| 1:58.0 | This is sometimes why I think maybe I go for more subtle Star Wars memorabilia and merch to wear now than in the past. |
| 2:05.0 | I remember when the big, what I call the t-shirt explosion of the mid 2010s, at 2012, 13, 14, 15 range, where everyone had a mash-up t-shirt and every company was trying to get you to order a t-shirt every month or nine. |
| 2:20.0 | And it was fun. You know, I have a Daenerys Targaryen serial parody t-shirt. |
| 2:27.0 | I have a Daenerys Targaryen how to lock up your dragon's parody mash-up t-shirt. And that's just Game of Thrones. I have many from Star Wars, though I didn't finally get rid of them. |
| 2:37.0 | It's just not my style anymore. I feel, again, I'm going for the more subtle approach, but out of that era where everyone could get a t-shirt or everyone could go to target and get that red Millennium Falcon t-shirt, which by the way is a damn good t-shirt. Get it if you can get it. |
| 2:54.0 | I've switched up a little bit and I have a shirt sometimes I've mentioned. It's the imperial design on the inside of Star Destroyers of the Death Star, that hallway light, the long, short lines, the white light shining through the dark quarters of the hallways, you know the one. |
