| 0:15.7 | All right, let's grab our Bibles and turn to Luke chapter 8. We're going through the gospel of Luke in a new series |
| 0:22.0 | that we're calling the gospel for everyone. And the title of this message is, |
| 0:26.7 | The Choice That Changes Everything. Let me start with a question. Why do some succeed |
| 0:34.3 | while others fail in the Christian life? And we know people that have walked with the Lord |
| 0:41.6 | for years. They have a wonderful, spiritually fruitful relationship with Christ, and we know others |
| 0:48.0 | that have crashed and burned. Here's the answer. The answer may surprise you. People fail because they choose to. Oh, it's not a |

| 1:38.8 | and as you're making your way over there, you decide what am I going to listen to, what |
| 1:43.8 | I'm going to put on the radio, or what |
| 1:45.7 | podcast will I listen to. And then you get to the weekend, and the question comes up, are we |
| 1:52.3 | going to church or are we not going to go to church? These choices matter. Why? Because you make |
| 1:58.0 | your choices, and your choices make you. |
| 2:01.6 | And by not choosing spiritual growth, we in effect choose spiritual decline. |
| 2:07.6 | You choose which way you're going to go. |
