There's a lot to talk about, Independence Day celebrations, what to grill, how to catch

wild pigs for that Italian sausage, but I'm not going to talk about that today.

I've got, I know a lot of people, all right, in my job, the job I've been doing lately

for four decades now, a lot of people, and there are thousands of people that are said

to be my friends on social media and the like, and I'm not trying to disassociate myself

with them, prepare up some of the crazy ones, but you know, I really don't have a lot of

friends. I've got my wife, Betty, my sons, Peter and Sparrow, my brothers, Peter and

Nicholas, Nick's, Nick has been a guest on this podcast and he's coming up with an article

soon on American conservative. And I've got friends like Steve the pilot and Jeff

Karlin and our next guest, Tom Serefen, guys that you can talk about stuff too without

worrying whether what you say might offend them, guys that you can talk about things too,

about the meaning of life and what, where are you on this planet, where are you in your

journey? And you have to do that because in the work I do and the work Jeff does, work

Tom does, we're always supposed to be on. You have to be on. You have to guard your words. You say

things for effect and sometimes it just gets tiring. Now in the world of politics, there are no

friends. What do they say? If you want a friend in politics, get a dog. Well, I have a dog.

He's, he's the one. And he's fine. He's, he's sitting downstairs bothering Betty right now.
