A note for our listeners.

September is One Strange Things Anniversary Month.

0:06.4

Our patrons voted to select our episode topic for our anniversary episode on September 19th.

0:12.5

You'll be hearing about that soon enough.

0:15.0

But this topic was the runner-up, and it was a close vote.

1:54.0

It certainly has a storied history.

1:56.7

It might not be one of the Great Lakes, not anymore, but it's rumored to have a certain denizen, known as Champ, or Champy, if you prefer.

2:07.7

Champ has been cited 300 times or more since the early 19th century.
