significant happened last week, unfortunately, but understandably because of the war in Ukraine,

it got very little media coverage, but it is nonetheless an extremely important.

Indeed, historic event that demands a lot more attention.

For the first time ever, a congressional committee has accused a former president of breaking

the law.

That's the stunning conclusion of a brief filed in court last week by the bipartisan January

6th Select Committee that Donald Trump and his allies had engaged in what the committee

identifies as a, quote, criminal conspiracy to prevent Congress from certifying the results of the 2020 election.

Wow. Donald Trump leading a criminal conspiracy. So what happens next after that bombshell

announcement? Can Congress file charges against Trump? Will the Justice Department file charges against Trump?

Can a former president even be charged with a crime?

Or even if true, can Trump still just get away with it?
