About Christine A Smith:

Christine A. Smith served in nearly 100 different, private homes as a caregiver last decade. She assisted clients between ages 75 & 105. She worked alongside or reported to loved ones of all ages. She observed thousands of interactions amongst family, friends, neighbors, volunteers, medical professionals, and the community with the person she was hired to assist. During her years of service, she saw aging done well and identified commonalities in how challenges were solved.

Christine also noticed that she, herself, had so few answers to common problems. So she researched, wrote a prompted journal, and began to video conversations every week with people who DO provide what those Persons of Longevity and their caregivers need.

1:09.6	I mean, I watched a show and then I came into this one and it's been all guys.
1:16.5	And that's fun for me because sometimes you can get surrounded by women as a woman.
1:22.2	So I just feel like I'm, I've been invited to, you know, play with the big kids on the playground or something.

1:37.1	You know, George and I both were just speakers at a male caregiver summit and with Shirel Mims. And, you know, that's what we're trying to do.
1:47.5	We're trying to advocate not only for caregivers, but given our roles as male caregivers at
1:53.2	one point in our lives, we're trying to let, you know, male caregivers have a voice and let people
1:58.1	know, you know, yes, it is primarily females, but there are a lot of male
2:02.3	caregivers out there, and it's okay to talk about being a male caregiver and helping to support
