0:34.0	Today we are covering the inbred cannibal pig people of Pig Hill.
0:57.0	Hi Chelsea, the urban legend I am recording for you tonight is the legend of Pig Hill. In my hometown of Meadville, Pennsylvania, there was a place also called Radio Tower Hill where the radio Tower from the town could be seen.
1:05.1	And it was a famous spot for teenagers to go and make out.
1:09.4	And the first time I became aware of Pig Hill was when I was a young theater kid of maybe 14 or 15 years and a boy that I was dating wanted to take me up to Pig Hill for the reasons that a person you
1:26.2	are dating might take you there.
1:28.8	And on the way he started to tell me the urban legend. And the story was that sometime early in Meadville's history,
1:38.9	there were a series of fires that destroyed several buildings in the town.
1:44.0	And there was a particular family in the town who were never charged with the fires,
1:50.0	but were widely believed to have been the reason the fires occurred.
1:55.0	And as a result of the court of popular opinion, they were shunned from the town.
2:02.0	People wouldn't be involved with them
2:03.8	or interact with them.
2:05.6	And to the point where they moved up into the hills
2:09.7	just outside of the town itself.
2:12.1	And because they had no access to others in the town, they began
2:17.1	to inbreed with one another. And Pig Hill is called its name because the way the story goes and I feel like I'm still
2:25.0	unpacking it in adulthood is that they continue to inbred with one another
2:32.1	until these mutant pig people were created,
2:36.0	people who had warped or twisted faces like the faces of pigs.
