It's July 31st, 2011 two weeks. I was in San

Francisco recently for the Adobe pop-up store event where I did a couple of presentations

and got to meet a couple of you listeners, which

was great fun. Also this past weekend, I was actually on Creative Live with Andy and Mikey of

Lighten Up and Shoot. And as we speak, I am in the middle of participating in today's guest

street photography workshop. So there's a abundance of stuff that's on my plate as well as all the

usual stuff that I'm up to.

But I'm excited about my interview with Eric Kim.

I've been following his street photography blog and his YouTube videos for the last several months. And it's been really exciting to see how this young photographer has really been embracing this particular approach to photography

and what's been happening recently in terms of just his presence in the greater photographic community.

I really enjoyed having the opportunity to meet him in person yesterday and learning a lot about an approach to street

photography that I myself have been practicing for a very long time. It reminds me that as photographers,

no matter how long we've been doing this, we can always stand to learn something more,

particularly from a photographer who may practice the same medium, but doesn't in a very

distinctly different way. I'm going to be writing about my

experience on his workshop starting on Monday or Tuesday, and the link to that will be on my
