On In the Limelight, we analyze the ins and outs of pop culture, entertainment, and

celebrity from the past week, from the Kardashians to Kate Middleton and everything in

between.

So there's really only one story that mattered this past week, weekend year, which is that

on Friday, Megan Markle, who needs an introduction at this point, turned 36.

And we were all kind of wondering how she would celebrate her birthday.

And we learned, thanks to the son, that Prince Harry took her away on a romantic African safari.

So we're going to get into all of that very shortly.

I really feel like the whole entirety, like lifespan of this podcast is really building up to

this moment. I feel the exact same way. But also in continuing our quest to monitor where in the

world, Beyonce is, will look at what she got into this week,

which is even more surprising, I think, than the Soul Cycle class. Yeah, but it is funny that

these are all like pseudo-athletic ventures when we get into what she did. I know. I get it,

Beyonce. Like, we feel bad enough. I know. She is more active than I will be. And I feel like I make the same variation on that joke every week.

Like, Beyonce went here. Meanwhile, I drank a Diet Coke. All right, but let's start with Megan. So she turned 36 on Friday. We weren't sure where she was. She's still filming... Do we know if she's still filming suits in Toronto? Is that done for now? We don't really know. It's done. Like, you know that all suits, like, publicists involved are, like, girl, take as much time as you need. No one is more excited about the prospect of Megan potentially getting engaged this week than the suits PR. Yes, that's true. And also, like, if I were them, I would say, we'll do all your scenes in, like, one day, you know? Because I think they just, they want to make sure she doesn't leave the show, I feel. And this is the way, I feel like they should maximize. Let her shoot from London, you know? Why not?

Let her FaceTime in. I'm sure they can figure out some sort of character subplot that requires her to be.

Well, take like an iPad and put it over someone's head. I don't care. So, as Julie points out in the script, and it is true, it caused the entire tablet industry to melt down because Megan took, so Megan flew into London with her mom as I

understand it then her I don't know what happened with her mom do we know what happened to the mom

did the mom go with them anyway Harry took we know we at least know Harry took Megan to a safari
