Welcome to our summer series. You guys ready? I'm joined. I'm dressed for summer. Certainly ready for summer. Yeah, we've been doing this for six months now. It is time to shift it up a little bit for the summer vibes going on. And we've got some really good episodes coming up in the next few weeks for you. And we're going to start this one off with some interesting vibes. So what's

got to share, Tom? Well, the story of the moment is probably the best way to put that is this feud

between Donald Trump and Elon Musk. And to just recap, because I was following it for some reason and I was getting some, you know,

notices and so forth.

And I saw this tweet on X by Elon that was disparaging the big beautiful bill.

And it's pretty obvious that, you know, as he was involved with doge and cutting costs and

finding waste and fraud and he's been a proponent of uh you know cutting spending in a balanced

budget uh out of the necessity of reducing the you know the debt and uh because it's massive and it's going to be, you know, get worse.

So anyway, he's not, he wasn't impressed with the big, beautiful bill because it's, it continues

spending and in fact, it adds to the national debt.

The deficit in the yearly budget was going to accumulate and increase the national debt, which is already at like $37 trillion.

So I was watching a Trump and the chancellor of Germany a press conference. And during that, the reporters asked Trump about

Elon's tweet. And that was the first time that Trump really responded. And he said some

things about Elon, like, always wearing thin, and he went a little crazy.

And, you know, some things that just didn't seem quite right.

But, you know, Trump really backs a big beautiful bill and he wants to get it passed.

So from there, the back and forth continued between Trump and Elon.
