So in the news this week, CAA, Creative Artists Agency, has acknowledged that they've been talking

to private equity funds about buying a stake in their agency.

Now, this is an interesting story because CAA, the mega agency at Hollywood, you wouldn't

think they would need outside money. And they probably don't need outside money. But I certainly would want outside money. Right, exactly. What's interesting

is how naive they're being about the whole thing. Brian Lord, one of the partners at CIA, in talking

about this potential investment at the Financial Times, Business of Luxury Summit, said, quote,
