So a documentary series recently premiered on Netflix.

It's called The Manhattan Alien Abduction.

It centers on one of the most controversial alien abduction cases out there,

involving a woman named Linda Napolitano.

This three-part series doesn't only cover the case, but it also focuses on the primary investigator

of the case itself, the late Bud Hopkins.

Featured in the series is Linda herself, filmmaker Carol Rainey, and my personal mentor, friend, and colleague, Peter Robbins.

Many years ago, I wrote what has become one of my most popular articles I've ever written,

and that was on this very case.

It was the cover article of the now defunct Open Minds magazine, and it went on to be published in several other

countries and in other languages. In the article, I was both open-minded and critical of the case at the time,

of which I admittedly still am today. However, both Linda and Peter have taken great issue

with how the case and even how they themselves

were portrayed in this docu series. And this has unfortunately culminated into a lawsuit in the

Supreme Court, currently being filed by Linda and members of the Hopkins family and estate.

All this being said, I clearly have a conflict of interest when it comes to this case and those involved.
