All right, the big news of the day is the announcement of Britain's own very

first stablecoin. Come on, GBPT, which is now pegged to the British pound and

it's brought to you by Tether. So those are the folks that do USDT and it's nice to

see that the yanks aren't stealing all of our action when it comes to stable

coins. We've been asking for a Euro stablecoin for a pound stablecoin for many

many years and now we finally got one which is fantastic. So looking forward to

see how the government here reacts to that and if they try to crack down on all

of us kryptonites out here that are looking for blockchains the future and the

future of finance. This is very interesting. Also, Tether is one of these asset

back stablecoins. This isn't like the Tera Luna Algo stablecoin that crashed. It

really is back one to one. Although Tether isn't known for having everything

exactly by the books and in government treasuries like USDC is my head

Jeremiah Lair from Circle on the show and he said look Brian for every USDC

coin you actually have a dollar worth of US government treasury in a

custodial account that we verify every month and so look this is the future we're

going to see which stablecoins win and we're going to see how they're regulated

going forward. I've heard from a bunch of my insiders that the US will have

stablecoin regulation by the end of the year and look we'll see if us Brutts

get that together. I hope they don't but part of me hopes they do because

regulation will get more volume it'll get more acceptance and it'll allow

people to start looking at crypto like real money and not trying to censor it

all the time which we know a little bit about here at London Rail so
