We don't have to be old for some things to be getting old.

But just when we think, this is really getting old,

we remember a part of something new.

I want to be, if I should live to be 90 years old,

But we're still living on the old creation earth amid all its groanings,

and with our old nature still wanting to cling to us and have some mastery over us. No wonder it's challenging. Could someone say

amen? No wonder, because we're new creations still living. We're still very much in process of

seeing it perfected and completed in our lives and will not until we see him face

to face. But we're down here, new creations trying to live in this old order, with our old self

going, don't you want to come back here? So what does life look like for us between our new creation and the new creation?

Well, 2 Corinthians 4 describes it to us.

Verse 1, therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart,

but we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways.
