Hey, really glad you're with us for the Friday edition of the Three Martini Lunch?

As I mentioned, it's Friday, and that's good.

That's the last good thing.

I think we're going to talk about with the exception of a faint glimmer of a silver lining

to our first really, really horrible Martini.

And that is that Title 42 has officially lifted as of midnight last night.

And now the floodgates are essentially open according to the numbers we've already seen

from the previous three days before this lifted 31,000 illegal entries into the United States.

So they're talking about 10,000 a day, even before they're allowed in on mass.

And you know, the estimates have been anywhere from 10 to 13,000 a day.

I remember when this was first talked about, some thought it'd be highest 18,000 a day.

We'll see what the numbers end up being.

But basically, Jim, it's way too many, even compared to Biden's already pathetic standards.

And so there may be a little bit of a reprieve on what we talked about a couple of days

ago with people just being let off into the United States with no tracking and no court

date, a federal judge in Florida responding to the Florida attorney general has ordered

that people have to be given a court date.

We know that they don't necessarily have to show up for those.

So we'll see if that has any significant impact.
