and her parents have fed the animals. They're able to spend some precious family time together

before dusk settles across the plains. But as Trrixie puts down her glass and picks up another rock,

a huge mass of birds flies overhead.

There are hundreds of ducks and geese all heading south.

The family get to their feet and stare.
