past a couple of years, I've had a chance to sort of hang out with this band in green rooms

and on my old radio show, Steel and Unger. He is, I think that the nation's topspile,

though he probably wouldn't agree to that. But this is a man who has his fingers on the

pulse and a lot of very important issues. The one and only Malcolm Nance. Welcome to the

Man of Steel podcast, buddy. Well, first off, I love the name of this podcast. No, Steel.

You're a year behind on this one. You should have done this for a long time. Yeah, yeah, I

probably should have been in that space for a while now, but we're here and we're excited about

it. And you know, folks, you need to know that we're talking to a former Naval Intelligence

and Counterterrorism Officer. He's his story and he's got a great new book out. I was talking

about it with him before I'm looking forward to getting my teeth into it. I just bought it.

The plot to destroy democracy, how Putin and his spies are undermining America and dismantling

the West. There is all of that storyline, but before we get into that, I just want to pop on

something that really instruct me and I watched you handle the subject of Charlottesville, which is,

you know, we're at, we just celebrated, and that's the wrong word, but we'll use it. It's one

year anniversary, commemorated. It's one year anniversary. And you threw down on this subject

in a way that I thought was very powerful and gave voice to a lot of people out here who have

watched our national leadership punt to put it politely on, on matters of race and in fact,

stoke the flames and the fears around race in this country. What, what is your take at this point?

Because my, my straight up is if you're not going to be serious about it, then you need to shut up.
