Does Jacori Crosky Merritt fit the bill of a player you're taking in the seventh or eighth round?

It's interesting, Sig, because I think what we have going on with everybody's affectionately known as Bill is an interesting dichotomy we often have behind the scenes between projections that we do for the site, right, which power as many things our customers use, and then draft rankings, i.e. the staff who don't provide projections, but just rank.

And I think we're up against that with Kroski Merritt, because try as I might, and I fully acknowledge the upside case for why you would want to take him in the seventh or eighth

and why you're probably recommending that people do. I get that fully. Like, I totally get

if you're on the clock and you're looking at the list of running backs left, he's likely the last person you're seeing on that fully. Like, I totally get if you're on the clock and you're looking at the list of running

he could very much be an every week starter for me if things fall right.

So I get that.

And so logically speaking, I have no like significant compunctions with someone pulling the trigger

in the eighth round.

But if you look at our site's projections, you'll see that I have him ranked, I think,

in 0.5 ppr, running back 44.

So, you know, a couple rounds beyond that.

And it's just because, you know, when you're doing projections, you really have to kind

of take the juicy fat part of the distribution curve of outcomes.

And when I look at the situation objectively, you know, I wrote a piece, well, I wrote, I wrote, I wrote pieces this early, this preseason about draft capital mattering.

Right. And, and, and again, we get so caught up as the season where the preseason wears draft capital mattering, right?
