We are talking about grinding your own grains at home,

0:29.6

freshly baking food within your kitchen,

0:32.5

feeding your family, healthy, affordable, nutritious,

0:36.3

and most importantly, delicious food, that doesn't take your entire

0:42.3

life. So this is something I know a lot of you have heard me talk about before, and for some

0:47.2

of you guys, this is a brand new topic, and you're going to be like, what are you talking about?

0:51.8

So I, for a couple years now, have been grinding my own grains

0:57.2

within my kitchen and baking fresh goods and things like that. And when I first heard about

1:03.5

this concept, like seven, eight, nine years ago, I thought, wow, that's a really cool concept. And I'm going to tell you some reasons why in a minute.

1:13.6

But I was fully convinced that this was a really great idea. Except I was fully convinced also that it was

1:22.2

going to take four hours a day in my kitchen, just like baking things. And as a busy woman back then,

1:32.1

transitioning into a busy mom, now I'm a busy mom of five, I couldn't imagine taking that

1:39.0

much time in my kitchen. It just didn't seem realistic. It didn't seem doable, even with the

1:43.2

benefits there. And as I, so I kind of

1:46.1

put that idea aside for a couple years, but I knew in the back of my mind, like, oh yeah, that'd be a

1:49.4

neat thing to do one day. Then I started seeing some resources pop up. I started seeing some

1:55.3

blogging friends. I started seeing some companies who were talking about freshly ground grains again.
