Today, we're asking a question that warrants some explanation. Are Arsenal title contenders? No listener, you didn't fall into a time machine and land in 2002. The gunners

have five wins from five as we record. They had a fantastic summer transfer window and the

pieces are clicking into place. My name's Ryan Bailey, joining me to discuss Mikhail Artetta's side

So, Arsenal off to a pretty flying start.

Unless we forget last season, they were bottom of the league after three games.

A very different story, Graham, this time around.

Yeah, so excitement built over the course of preseason.

As you said, they had a very good transfer window. And that has translated into a very

strong start to the season itself by winning all of their first five Premier League fixtures. They

have beaten Crystal Palace, Lesser City, Bournemouth, Fulham and Assonville. And you could argue that

in terms of the fixtures, the Arsenal have had a favourable run, but they have an away match against Manchester's on Sunday.

So I think that will be a real test for them, and maybe we know a lot more about Arsenal as a team after that game.

But fans send something different about this group.

They had to come from behind in each of their last two matches against Fulham and Aston Villa.

And I think it's fair to suggest that it's possible Arsenal wouldn't have won those

games last season. It feels like there's a much stronger mentality about them this season.

I personally don't know how realistic it is to suggest they are title contenders.
