Hi, I'm Helen McCarthy.

I teach modern British history at the University of Cambridge and I've written quite a few books

on women's history.

I wrote a book about women in British diplomatic life since the 19th century and I've most

recently just published a history of working mothers in Britain over the past century and

a half or so.

Hi, my name is Stella Dazzy.

I'm probably best known as one of the co-authors of the book, The Heart of the Race and one

the Martin Luther King Award for Literature but was recently republished by Versa as a

feminist classic.

I recently published a book called A Kick in the Belly which looks at women's slavery and

resistance and I'm an historian and education activist and a writer.
