Summary

Melanie and I definitely want to record podcasts more frequently this summer, but even still I'm a little shocked that we managed to put together one last week and this week, too.

IS THIS WHAT PRODUCTIVITY FEELS LIKE?

Continue to keep those expectations low, though. It could very well be next April before we get our act together again. We're gonna try to do better, but keep in mind that we kind of pride ourselves on our consistent inconsistency.

On this podcast we answer more of your questions; we talk about Melanie's experience with Mr. Pillow, our favorite summertime breakfasts, Melanie's new couch, and my brief foray into obsessive scrapbooking. We also address Melanie's Aggie baseball heartache and discuss our commitment issues when it comes to our calendars.

And of course we talk about Sheerlume. However, we fail to mention either Amy Grant or Christy Nockels, so we probably need to pay some sort of podcasting fine.

Enjoy, y'all.

1:03.4

Yeah, okay. It's good to get that straightened out from the get-go. I could not remember who I was.

1:08.4

I know. Do you remember? You did that and I've done that before too, but you did that.

1:12.4

We were speaking. It was at Westman Row and I introduced myself and I was like, hi, I'm Melanie.

And then you shook their hand. You go, hi, I'm Melanie.

I lost myself in it.

1:31.4

Oh, cool. I know, but I've done that. It's when your brain is tired and listen, I'm so tired.

1:35.4

I stayed up to watch those Aggies through 16 innings last night.

1:39.4

I tried, I tried to like, I tried to rally you from Birmingham, but I fell asleep and somewhere in 14.

1:47.4

I, well, I knew you did because I texted you and said, we've lost all internet because at one point all our internet went down and it was like the Aggies were up to bat.

1:55.4

I think it was the bottom of the 15th and I had... I've thought I've never felt more helpless in my whole life.

2:01.4

I can't have asked anything. And so when I had no response from you about that, I was like, well, she has fallen asleep because if she isn't going to respond to we've lost all internet.

2:11.4

Yeah, I knew.

2:13.4

Well, and I actually, like when I woke up and got up to go to bed, I just pushed record on the DVR because I was like, well, because we're still playing.

2:22.4

It was probably the 15th in there and or bottom of the 14th something and I thought, well, I'll press record and then that way I can see in the morning.

2:32.4

And then this morning, I the first thing I did when I got up as I walked in the kitchen, I turned on the TV and I just fast-forwarded through that part of the game.

2:41.4

And like the very end, the TCE player was sliding into home, but it cut off before I could see if he was safer out.
