So the sunny beaches of Mexico and Big 12 football.

It is great to be here with you, diving into another show.

So yes, this report dropped on Monday night that the Big 12 has been actively exploring playing football and basketball games in Mexico starting in 2024.

And, you know, I am a big Brett Your Mark guy.

You listen to me for the last seven, eight months.

You know that, right?

Hands down.

Totally love, respect what he's doing.

This one I have not understood, but I am willing to give and will be giving the benefit of the doubt in this case.

And let me explain why.

I've always been of the belief that these smaller college towns, Manhattan, Ames, Stillwater,

places that are clearly built around their universities,

desperately need these six home games every fall in football,

and to a lesser extent, basketball for economic purposes, right?

I mean, that's what it's really about.

That's how I've always felt. I never

have liked games moving to neutral sites unless there's some, you know, big advantage,

payout wise for the schools, which oftentimes there is, but not always the case. So that's

always been just my core belief. Keep games on campus, college athletics is best on campus.

But I'm willing to at least explore this possibility.
