What's going on? I saw you were UP Upper Peninsula.

I was this is my first time in Michigan.

Yeah, in Michigan. I don't know what they're saying is pure Michigan. Is that what it is? Pure or something?

Is that what it is? You were at Mackinac Island. Yeah. Have you been?

Well, my mom is from Michigan and in my like I was very young, but like I have been, but not like in memory years.

You know, how was it? No cars. Did you have the toffee or the the fudge?

The fudge. Yes. The Mackinac, the famous fudge. So tell the people about Mackinac. I know I know a weird amount about that place.

But I mean, I had never even heard of it until I was going there for a wedding, but I'd never heard of it until about until this wedding.

And then when I was trying to book my trip there, it was less vulnerable.

It's, you know, it's one of those things and I had this it's funny like the more travel becomes.

You know, you can get on a flight and in any hour you can go to places, you know, pretty quickly as opposed to, you know, way back when.

You know, you start to find these places that people have had in their lives. Like, you know, my grandparents, they would drive to Mackinac Island.

You have to take the car to the ferry, leave your car, you know, you know, over in one place and go to the other, like I, you know, I think of like Michigan a lot like Maine.

Like why would anyone go unless you're within a drive, but you were there for a wedding. That's great.

Yeah, I mean, it was beautiful. Listen, it was absolutely beautiful, but getting there was such a pain because I had two flights there.

And then you had the 40 minute drive from whichever small airport you were in and then the ferry and then to get from the ferry to the hotel.

I had to take a horse drawn carriage. It was my, the example was that it was brought, it was Barbie getting from Barbie land to the real world.

So where she had to have the boat and the roller skates and the skiing and the, the rocket ship. I was like, this is absolutely insane.

I can take a direct flight from LA to Australia and still get there faster than I can get to Mackinac Island.

It's almost as if these quote unquote friends didn't want you coming to their wedding at all.

They kept saying, thank you so much for being there. Oh, yeah, right.
