I just recited Surah Al-Kalame, and the first verses are actually very powerful because they tell us

the a Khlaq of the Prophet, some of the blessings that he was given, and they contrast him with the worst of the A Khlaq.

So let us quickly go over the first few verses of Surat Al-Kalame, so that we can benefit in shah Allah

can benefit insha'Allah from this early Makhkan revelation.

Noun wa l-kalami wa ma yasturun.

Noun is one of the verses, the letters at the beginning of the Suras, we don't know

its meaning.

Alif lam mim, am mim.

We don't know its meaning.

Wa l-kalami wa ma yasturun.

Allah gives a Qasam by the pen and what the pen writes.

Ima wa l-Kurtubi says, there are three pens that is referenced in this verse.

The first is the divine pen.

The second is the angelic pen.

And the third is the human pen.

What are these three pens?

The first is the divine pen.

What is the divine pen?

Our Prophet ﷺ said, the first thing that Allah created was the kalam.

This is the divine kalam, the divine pen.
