Welcome back into the Dynasty Nerds podcast. I am your host, Garrett Price, and I'm here with my good friend Andrew Ma. Andrew, how are you doing? I'm doing good, man. How are you? I'm doing good today, man, doing good today. We went a little on the negative side last week. Talked about players that like, I don't know that we trust it. I don't know that we believe it.

We might want to sell these guys.

This week we get to be a little more positive,

a little more optimistic on players that we're going to go out and try to acquire on our fantasy football teams,

whether that's redraft, dynasty, whatever.

Yep.

Yeah, I agree.

It's hopefully, for me, i think it's more a little dynasty

focused i do have some deeper rookie names and things like that so it is a little bit more

dynasty focused but uh yeah i think all of these players that we'll talk about today definitely

have pathways to better days ahead maybe than what they've already had absolutely yeah we've got

some very interesting names there was one that you sent over that. I was like, oh, I really like this guy. And there might be a dip here because he hasn't done much yet, but I really like the player in the situation. So we will definitely be getting to that. All right. Well, let's let's not waste any time. Let's just get right into it last week.

You know, people either loved or hated our or JJ McCarthy discourse. We're not going to

give back into that today. No more tinfoil hats or anything. Yeah, I told you. I took my list.

My list was Jordan Mason, T.J. Hugginson and J.J. McCarthy. I took all of those guys

off my buys list because you guys don't want to buy them. Only I do. I love it. I love it.

Although Jordan Mason, man, what a game. Granted, for everything Vikings last week, it was a great game.

But might be the future. Might not just be, oh, I'm filling in while Aaron Jones has gone.

He might be the future of the team there. We'll see, uh, but what's going to get into it. I'm going to go with, uh, actually, you know what? Why don't you go ahead? Why don't you give us your first buy of the week? Yeah, I'm going to go with Josh Downs as my first buy.

Just a player that I think is super talented, but I'm looking across at some of these websites.

The Dynasty Nerds website has him ranked as the Y-D receiver 44 in our Super Flex rankings. But on Keep Trade Cut and Fantasy Cal, he's outside of the top 50. So he's a little bit lower, pretty much everybody else, or everywhere else, except for us. And I think there's just a few things

that have maybe led to a slow start from Josh Downs. One of them, he was dealing with a preseason
