Hey everybody, I'm Beth Davis.

Welcome back to Teachable Tuesday.

Every Tuesday we discover God's heart and were changed by His Word.

And we're doing that in a big way all through the Gospel of John these past four months.

I can't believe it.

John chapter 20 today, which means next week is our very last week in the gospel of John.

Let's read and pray, shall we?

In the name of the Father and of the Son of the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Come, Holy Spirit.

Lord, I thank you that you're already here, that you come with arms overflowing with gifts

and graces.

Thank you that in your gaze, Lord, we find the love we're longing for.

So help us to fix our eyes on you, Jesus.

In a new way to see your face, a new angle, Lord, a new side of your face, a new aspect of your heart,

especially through this gospel.

Open the ears of our hearts, Lord, to hear John 20 for the first time.

Thank you, Lord.

John chapter 20.

Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.

For she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, they have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.

Then Peter and the other disciple set out and went towards the tomb.
