If you make fun of me for what I'm about to tell you, no, I will not be offended.

While in the midst of a spice girl's theme to Peloton ride this past Monday, I found myself

doing something I probably shouldn't admit.

I cried.

I'm not sure why I was so moved when the song Mama came on, but I do have some guesses.

It could be because I thought of the mother of my now three-month-old child, it could be

because I thought of my own mother, or it could be just that I've gone a little bit soft

lately.

And in reality, I think the only correct answer would be all of the above.

Crying is never something that I've ever strayed away from.

I don't remember the first time that a movie moved me to tears, but if I had a guess which

one it was, I'd probably say it was Simon Birch.

I specifically remember going to the movie theaters with my mom and two of her friends,

only to look over and see Kleenex getting handed out as a movie ended.

These days I found myself being more emotional than ever before.

A good cry in my opinion is never worth showing away from.

Sometimes these are tears of sadness, sometimes tears of joy, and sometimes they come so far

at a left field that you have no idea what even caused them in the first place.

Even though Mama by the spice girls is a song that I will routinely cry to, these are

the songs that are most likely to make me cry out of nowhere, even if for no specific
