And what a time to be alive. The NFL draft did its usual thing, shook up the fantasy landscape. Now we're in the process of putting that puzzle back together. I already have a few things up.

Wilkins today our resident draft guru we're gonna go over our favorite picks from every round. And of course, we're going to focus on it from a fantasy lens. So just our favorite skill position picks from each round. And we're even going to throw in our favorite UDFA signings at the end. So Wilkie, welcome back, man. We just had you on it. It was like a week or two ago you were here. were here. We're putting you to work again. But tell everybody, how was your first draft as the full-time senior writer at the score? Did it feel a little different, not having to approve all the alerts and do all that other stuff that used to have to do in previous years? Yeah, it was a little different, but it was a lot of fun, man. This is my favorite event on the entire sports calendar. Everyone at the makes fun of me for that they say it's not a real sport event but listen I think at the very least it's the most anticipated sports event on the calendar because you get to look forward to it for I mean everyone in the football world gets to look forward to it for like at least four months but if you're a really bad team you can probably tack on another three or four on top of that. Yeah, for sure. And I'm glad you're on with me today just to go over all this stuff. It's always more fun. I mean, just bouncing things back and forth with somebody else. But full disclosure, I said this to you before we started. Maybe people can tell from my voice, I'm sick right now. I hung it with my wife's family on Easter weekend last

2:17.7

weekend and one of the nephews was sick and I foolishly was just hanging out

2:21.8

playing you know games with the nephews and everything and sure enough

2:25.6

about midweek right before the draft I started to come down the cold and I'm not

2:30.3

like bedridden or anything I still have my energy I just mention it because if I

2:33.8

sound a little weird that's why everybody so it's good that you're joining me here just in case I got to hit the cough button or anything. But let's get into it. So we're to go round by round. We're going to hit on our favorite skill position picks. And I'm going to let you kick us off since I already gave my round one thoughts in the last show. I'm not going to spend too much time on round one but you could tell us here who are you most excited about from the first

2:53.2

round selections i know this one came as a surprise to a lot of people, probably including some Bears fans, but I really loved the Colston Loveland pick for Chicago. He was pretty easily the best receiving tight end in the draft for my money, and I think he's a much better blocker than he's been given

3:08.0

credit for too. Just a really good prospect who I compared to Darren Waller during the pre-draft

3:12.5

process. I think he's going to be an awesome fit for the Sam LaPorter role in Ben Johnson's offense.
