best of episodes over the holiday period. Andrew Denton, Tim Flannery and Anna Marie Cox. Andrew

Denton is up first, one of the most celebrated and brilliant

Australian comedians and writers. He'd been a fixture of Australian television and radio for decades

and has more recently become interested in the Right to Die movement, the euthanasia movement in

Australia.

He's an absolute joy, a towering intellect and wildly funny.

What happened to your dad?

My dad was, had been probably for the last seven or eight years of his life,

longer probably the last decade, very unwelled.

He'd had heart attack, it had heart surgery, had lots of stuff going on.

And eventually his body really packed in and he went into our local hospital, which is fine.

They did all the right things.

But it was congestive heart failure.

And as another doctor described it too many, too many years later,
