So FADO is a song, is a music. It's usually a solo female occasionally male singer and a guitarist talking about longing.

In Portuguese there's a word called

Saaudaj which is a word that can't really be translated directly. It's almost a

word that means longing for but it in some ways also means the enjoyment of longing for something.

It's a word that if you ask five Portuguese people to sit around a table and try to describe you won't be done for a couple

hours at least before people finally get to some point and it's soulful it takes place in

the in the back alleys it place in the back alleys.

It comes from the back alleys of Lisbon,

where the fishermen's wives and families

would long and talk about the fishermen returning one day from their trips to sea.
