October 4th, the country gets chucked.

Everybody's favorite killer doll is back.

The new season of Chucky

premieres October 4th at 9. 8 Central on USA and sci-fi. Available next day on

Peacock. Yes, Paul. The original Chucky movie was got to be what, 25, 30 years ago,

right? The Chucky doll movie. I never saw him. Me neither, but who has got to be in the late 80s,

early 90s, I would think, right? Who would have thought this franchise had a staying power

35, 40 years? Okay, but is that the one, what surprises you more? Like, Rocky has staying power,

Star Wars staying power, Star Trek staying power. I'm looking at the original Chuckucky movie. It was Child's Play? Yep. Yeah. Yeah. I got 1988. They did Childs Play, Two, Three, Bride of Chucky, Seated Chucky, Curse of Chucky, cult of Chucky, and a reboot of Childs Play, which is necessary. So I'm looking at six or seven films off this one thing. And it's, it's, well, is there more Freddie Kruger Friday the 13th? It's close. The franchise. But Chucky is like a doll that attacks people, right? Yeah. Yeah. That's a, that's something. And what's the new one, Megan? Oh, Megan. Yeah. How's that promo go? There's a difference if you don't want to see Megan, but you want to see Megan. Thank you, Tom. Coming to theater. Yes, Marvin. The Patriots, they're the sports version of Chuckie. Because when they won the Super Bowl beating the Rams in 01, I never thought they would want another Super Bowl. I was like, oh, this is a cute little. Okay, good for them. Yes, Paul. That's very Colin Coward of Marvin what he did just there. He found a way to compare the Patriots. You know what? I was thinking, Chucky and the Patriots, and they have this in common. Off the top of my head, I'm just going to give you this. Yes, yes, Tom. There's something about when a doll is talking, the mom flips it over and realizes there's no batteries in the thing and how could it possibly be talking. That's pretty freaking. Yes, Paul. Child's Play was produced on a budget of $9 million in 1988, and it made a worldwide total of $50 million.
