expected to be the number one overall pick, to be going into a bear situation that looks like it's going to be one of the more

favorable situations that a number one pick has has stepped into in a long time which is fantastic

obviously for him and for bears fans it's not it's it's kind of fun it's not often that you see

this kind of play out but they trade it out of the number one pick.

They got additional draft capital for that last season.

And as a result, they have the number one pick this year that they got from the Panthers,

who then went on to post, obviously, the worst record in the league in the Panthers weren't expecting

to have that big of a bummer of their 2023 season.

But the Bears using those additional assets have been able to acquire a to have that big of a bummer of their 2023 season.

They trade some draft capital to get Montez sweat in season last year.

He helps their defense look a lot better down the stretch.

They trade some more draft capital this offseason to go get Keenan Allen.

So they don't actually have a ton of picks. They do have two in the top 10 and only four overall very fascinating situation i got asked a bunch of questions about our our bears conversation sean and why we didn't talk a lot about a

dunesay i just kind of want to mention some thoughts there where i i do kind of think they might trade back

out of that spot but they might add add Robo Dunzee as well.

He's been mocked there really heavily, and regardless of whether they add him or not, it's going to be a very favorable landing spot for Caleb Williams.
