Welcome to the Bad Broadcast I'm your host Maddie Murphy. Hello everybody good morning and welcome

and welcome back to a new episode of the bad broadcast my name is

Maddie I'm your host and I'm so glad that you are here. I have to start out by saying thanks. Thanks for

the response to last week's episode. I had no clue how that was going to go. I really didn't and that

topic has been on my mind for literally years and I knew that it would feel good

to tell my side I didn't know how good it would feel to tell my side and just have, you know, even if it's just a little part of the story, just being able to say like, hey, this is the truth and this is what I went through and you know being able to

stick up for myself in that way was so freeing I did not realize how heavy that

was to carry around and to not say anything about it and I'm just I'm so

grateful that you guys let me have somewhere that I can say all of that because I

never know how those topics will go. I mean the the podcast has changed a lot since

the beginning. We do a lot of different topics we've experimented with interviews and

scary stories and funny topics and heavy topics and so whenever I do something kind of out of the ordinary I just I never know how it will be received and you guys were so amazing and I talked to so many of you I heard from so many of you that had experienced something similar maybe not in a romantic relationship but with a friend or with a parent or with a sibling and I I felt like there was just this this camaraderie in pain unfortunately and it made me feel like seen and heard but also made me really sad that so many of us have gone through something horrible and then also felt like we couldn't talk about it and I'm so sorry.

I mean I'm so sorry to anybody who has been through this very

specific type of hell and I hope at the very least you feel like you can talk about it and you feel a right to your own life and story and all of that so

yeah I just I appreciate you guys. It's also come to my attention that I say the word appreciate wrong. I've gotten messages about it and also my friend Claire, shout out to Claire, she said that she's never heard anybody say
