Today, I share a few of the most memorable gifts received and why the audacity of giving is more important than the gift itself.

| 0:56.4 | a hat and shared that this was her son's favorite hat he wore it before the diagnosis |
| 1:03.2 | and he wore it throughout the entire treatment of the diagnosis she then handed it to me |
| 1:09.1 | and she insisted that I keep it. |
| 1:11.4 | There was a gentleman who shared that he was from the Cherokee tribe. |
| 1:17.2 | He thanked me for reminding him of the value of story, |
| 1:21.1 | the resiliency of human beings, |
| 1:23.1 | and the power of individuals to impact others. |
| 1:26.3 | He then took off his beaded necklace, placed it around me, |
| 1:31.6 | and walked away. And then there was this little girl at another event with her father. |
| 1:37.5 | They came up afterwards. They had me sign their book. And although the speech that day was a little |
| 1:43.3 | difficult with some of her developmental delays, |
| 1:45.8 | we discussed as best we could our mutual love of friends, of music, and of nature. I signed her |
| 1:54.0 | book. I gave her a hug and then they walked away. A moment later, this little one comes running |
